The word count is that of the original document that you send to us, not the corrected version that we send to you.
The exact calculation that we use is as follows: we take the total number of words, divide this by 1000, multiply the result by £8, and then knock off any pence to round down to the nearest pound, with a minimum of £7 per document.
How does this work out in practice?
Under 1000 words = £7
1000 to 1124 words = £8
1125 to 1249 words = £9
1250 to 1374 words = £10
1375 to 1499 words = £11
1500 to 1624 words = £12
1625 to 1749 words = £13
1750 to 1874 words = £14
1875 to 1999 words = £15
2000 to 2125 words = £16
etc.
Priority Service
We will proofread documents in the order we receive them. If you would like to jump the queue, add the word PRIORITY to the subject line of your email. Documents submitted in this way will be processed before any non-priority documents currently in the queue. The cost for this priority proofreading service is double that of the standard proofreading service – £16 per 1000 words, with a minimum of £14 per document.
